UI Implementation

    Over the last two months the UI has been completely changed from an arcade-like style to a more digital/clean look. This can be seen later via the Feedback UI but more will be shown in due time. Finding a proper theme for the UI took longer than expected. It never felt right until a balance was found that brought about the order of what intelligence agencies have and the the digital feel of the era. The game takes place in 2054 where the world has been ravaged by the nature of humans. With destruction at every turn, some civilizations have been able to rebuild their country anew.

    Open World Weather is a small project that utilizes the Open Weather Map, which provides world-wide weather data, to gather, display, and analyze weather data from different regions in the world. By using PyOWN, a Python wrapper library for OpenWeatherMap web APIs, we can tap into this data. Currently the app works on weather data in Rolla, MO but future work will include an easy-to-use interface to display data on many different areas around the world.

    Arrest Alerts is a program written in Python that aggregates arrest data from the Missouri State Highway Patrol website. A request to scrape this data was put in to the department in 2019 and granted as long as any names were left out. Some of the data that is collected is as follows:
